Lou Soslowsky Wins the ASME Lissner Medal
Lou Soslowsky, Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and MEAM Graduate Group member, is the recipient of the 2018 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Lissner Medal “for outstanding contributions toward the understanding, prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries to tendinous and ligamentous tissues; and for internationally recognized leadership in the biomechanics community.”
The H.R. Lissner Medal is a society level award that recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of bioengineering, and is the single highest honor that one can achieve in the Bioengineering community.
