CBE Alumnus Takes Students on Tour of Nuclear Power Plant

Brian Wright ChE ’10, an engineer at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, took students from the Wharton Undergraduate Energy Group (WUEG) on a tour of the facilities at Peach Bottom. This nuclear power plant is operated by Exelon and provides power to over two million people in the Delta, Pennsylvania region. Brian, along with Christian Ramos MEAM ’03, gave a presentation to the WUEG students on the history of Peach Bottom, the engineering and maintenance behind the plant, economics of selling nuclear-produced power, and the future outlook of nuclear energy.
